Do we count cycling on a chair “sitting”?
My thought is “No”.
I quite often injure my lumber. When this happens, rest for 72 hours, and start moving as much as possible, as long as I don’t feel pain. The worst is sitting in a same posture for more than 10 mins. Yes, 10mins is long enough to cause pain.
One day, I tried to use COGY as a chair in my house. It has pedals. I just swung myself back-forth every now and then. To my surprise, there was a huge difference. Not only I didn’t feel pain after hours of sitting, but also, the recovery was much quicker.
Sitting may not help. But cycling on a chair may.
